Aberdare RFC

Aberdare RFC, also known as Aberdare RUFC or the Aberdare Rugby Union Football Club (or by their collective nickname “The Snakes”), is a Welsh rugby union based out of the town of Aberdare in South Wales.
They began in 1890 with the group name of Aberaman Rugby Football Club, and in their early year were part of the Glamorgan league and played against the rugby teams from other nearby mining towns.
At the moment, the Aberdare RFC is actually divided into four main groups: seniors (which in turn have a 1st team and a 2nd team), young women (which is split into two groups as well, girls under 18 and girls under 15), youth (for which there are also two teams), and juniors (which also has various divisions according to age). As a result of this Aberdare RFC has a very diverse accumulation of players of all ages and skill levels and is able to provide excellent coaching, training, and tutoring to all of its members.
The Aberdare RFC currently plays in the Welsh Rugby Union Division Two South East and is also a feeder team for the Cardiff Blues, one of the four professional rugby teams in Wales (who are so skilled that they have won both the Anglo-Welsh Cup and the European Challenge Cup in the past).
The Aberdare RFC has also displayed exceptional talent in recent years, with the 2015/2016 year being perhaps their most successful since the club’s founding in the late 1800s. It was during this season that the Aberdare RUFC were declared the champions of Welsh Rugby Union’s Division 3 East Central A, after gaining a 47-30 victory over the Fairwater RFC (a Welsh rugby team based out of Cardiff) with two games to spare.
The Aberdare RFC also has its own merchandise that can be purchased from their online store. They offer polo shirts, t-shirts, track jackets, track pants, advantage shorts, long sleeve tops, zip-up rain jackets, leisure shorts, singlet tank top shirts, tapered trousers, hoodies, duffel/kit bags, socks, umbrellas, boot bags, and bobble hats. All of this merchandise is Aberdare RFC-themed, of course, although specific items can be personalized with your name should you desire it.
The Aberdare RFC is currently being sponsored by RMS, Triax, and WDL Homes Ltd., and they are located at 49 Gloucester Street in Aberdare. Some of the club’s facilities such as their bar, lounge, and function room can be booked for various private events such as birthdays, wedding, christenings, funerals, classes, or even quiz nights. There are even karaoke, disco, catering, and other entertainment services that can be arranged for special events. Furthermore, the bar and lounge have been recently renovated to provide a more modern and relaxed environment, and they also have a wide selection of beers, ales, and wines available as well as tea or coffee if you prefer something non-alcoholic. They also offer complimentary free Wi-Fi internet.
Additionally, their conference, training, and meeting rooms are within minutes of the public transit station, and these facilities are also well-furnished with whiteboards, overhead projectors and ample seating. There are also offices available for rent if needed.
